Its definitely impossible to use this app! Please people, learn with the 1843 magazine - signature canceled!

This past week it didnt work and I paid the subscription....

I bought a months subscription to Time Out New York, but I cant access it. Never got a subscription number, which is required to log in. Took a guess that maybe it was Document Number in the Apple receipt, but when I put that in it tells me Ive reached my device limit, and I should contact tech support. I dont have it on *any* devices, because I cant log in, so apparently the device limit is zero. Following the link for tech support puts a URL in the To: field of an email. My 13 year old could code something better than that. You cant get tech support without logging in, and if I could log in, I wouldnt need tech support. Really, really crappy user experience. Wish I had read the reviews before paying - my fault. Im going to get nothing for my $5. Dont be like me. DONT PAY ANYTHING FOR THIS APP. Totally useless.

I bought one year subscription of digital issue. But almost 90% of every week issue are never available on time and more than 50% are available week later or more. And there is not contact available for customer help by e-mail, so I cant send e-mail to leave claim about my problem and the company also never had chance to realize what happen. Because this Review itself never be published even I try to send. The whole system prevent somehow. It definitely need some improvement. I was so tired about this, so I even not check every week issue anymore...

The downloads never work, the customer help email shows up as invalid, and customer service never responds. They should be shamed of themselves

Why on earth would you spend all this money on subscription when you can get the magazine FREE every Wednesday throughout Manhattan.

After iOS 10 update, the. APP crashes all the time almost immediately upon opening an issue making it impossible to read the magazine. I love the content and am also a subscriber to Time Out London so I am very disppointed.

I have been been a print and digital subscriber (since print subscription includes digital). The app used to work well, but in the past year it has become spottier, and now it hardly functions at all. The issues tend to arrive late. The app crashes repeatedly making getting through the issues nearly impossible. And even when the app itself works, the digital content is askew, making most images difficult to see. As stated in other reviews, Time Out tech support is non-existent. The help link is a dead end. They have no customer support line. If your subscription is digital only, you can contact the App Store. They were very helpful to me, refunding most of my purchase price. Seems becoming a free magazine in NYC has taken its toll on the magazines other operations.

I keep on getting knocked off the app. Pics dont fully load . Its just a mess.

TONY needs to outsource their digital edition. They seem incapable of smoothly providing a digital version of their excellent magazine. I used to blame the post office for late arrivals but now I realize that publishing must occur in a suburban garage. The program is glitchy, no automatic downloads, late arrivals, no contact numbers, no digital extras. Cmon TONY, catchup with the 21st century. Originally written in June. No improvement in Sept. Do not subscribe to is app! No improvement on Jan 2, 2017. The New Years Eve addition is not yet available.

I think Time Out New York is a great publication but their non-existent support for digital subscribers is unacceptable. When working, this app is great. I started subscribing to TIme Out New York magazine in mid September, 2012 and had no problems until yesterday. I am currently signed up for a yearly subscription, however the latest edition which should have been released on Thursday, Oct 4, 2012, didnt show up as an available download on my devices until Friday, October 5, 2012 (this is a weekly magazine that publishes social and entertainment events so it is time-sensitive and one day does make a difference). Their app doesnt appear to be recognizing my subscription any longer and is now requesting that I pay for the current issue on top of the $24.99 I have already paid. I called Time Out New York and an employee referred me to Apple even though it should really be an issue for their subscription department. I was offered no help within their organization and that was the end of any semblance of support from TIme Out New York. Apple Care has been attentive and helpful so far, but there is no solution yet. Until the bugs are fixed and better subscriber support is provided by Time Out, its better to just use their website which is updated frequently and is free. Again, I think this magazine is a great publication, but where print media and the number of legitimate subscribers are consistenly diminishing, they really need to step up their digital services and support.

Been waiting a looooong time for TONYs iPad version. Its here and its great!

I love the Time Out app, but wanted one of the magazine too. Now I can get both.

Wasnt happy with this app its so bunched up and reading it on the phone is annoying, considering you can get print free all over the city its not worth the memory use on your phone and or IPod

Immediately purchased the year long subscription because I love this magazine and was disappointed to find that every time I go to download the issue, I am charged again!!! Even after restoring, re-installing, everything! Dont subscribe until they fix this, or youll have to pay twice.

When will electronic subscription will be available for paper subscriber?
